Pharmaceutical and Medical Labelling
Medical and pharmaceutical labelling takes many forms, from a simple paper label on a drugs bottle to a label required for cryogenic freezing.
Every label has a specific requirement. For labels that are to be attached to a product, we are frequently asked that our products are free from certain substances e.g., latex, animal by-products, colophony (terpenic resin), phthalates and pvc (plasticisers used in pvc are mostly phthalates).
Labels or tags that come into contact with the skin must also pass cytotoxicity testing etc.
The specialist needs of this market require consistent adherence to quality standards and often requires complex substrates and multiple print processes. TPL sources a variety of specialist materials from leading manufacturers, which, combined with our experience in quality label production, enables us to meet and surpass the toughest of requirements for today's medical and pharmaceutical labelling.
- Cryogenic labels to minus 120°C
- Sharpak labelling
- File labels
- Heart monitor pads
- Blood bag labelling - adheres to soft packaging
Our labels are particularly suited to medical applications where data integrity is critical and are unaffected by extremes in temperature and chemical agents commonly used in laboratory settings. |
