Printing Processes
TPL offers a variety of printing processes geared for all markets, ranging from low volume blanks up to large volume 6 colour work and incorporating Hot foiling Flatbed to UV, Water based Flexo-graphic through to our Thermal Transfer division.

Flexographic
All of our presses are roll to roll modular based, facilitating extremely quick set up times. "De-Lam Re-Lam" is also a standard feature enabling the printing of information on the adhesive side of the label, together with the capability of printing on to the reverse of the liner, eg. registration marks. TPL can produce up to 6 colour work, including the option to varnish on UV or Water based inks. Each press has 3 cutter stations which allow diecutting, sprocketing, perforating and sheeting. |

Hot Foil
Hot-foiling uses "Foils" to print instead of inks, Heat in excess of 120°C is required for 'stamping' from print head to foil, thus releasing the pigments within the foil onto the required substrate. This process is used most commonly in low volume work and can print up to four colours at any one time. |

Thermal Transfer
Thermal Transfer is very similar to Hot foiling, but is restricted to the production of overprint labels only. This process is most commonly used for applications requiring, barcoding, sequential numbering and variable information. Like Hot Foil it is also suitable for short run work. |
